At some point early in the month, Hayame will be approached by a young centaur girl. The girl is curious about Hayame, especially since she’s so obviously strong, and so long as Hayame doesn’t shoo her away immediately, she’ll eventually tell Hayame about a group of centaur-folk that like to meet up regularly in Alenroux (during the day, of course). She’ll tell Hayame about when they’d planned their next meeting, and if Hayame chooses to go, she’ll find a group of roughly 40 centaurs of various ages that gather here regularly, since even if they can’t live in Alenroux, it’s a more comfortable place for them to gather. It’s partially a picnic and partially a kind of “field day” where they practice everything from handicraft skills to, yes, archery. While she’s there, she’ll also be able to overhear an interesting conversation between two people...
[FORMERLY REDACTED INFORMATION] The two are discussing the Shardless. Not everyone in Kenos has a Shard (it’s not rare, but it’s uncommon), and those that are born here never have one. Yet, the Shardless who are born here can get one. The two of them are discussing the teenage child of a family they know who went to Heliopolis. They had to make a donation to the temple (of course, the other person says), but after a ceremony, their child came out as a Shard-Bearer. One of them asks the other in a hushed voice “just where did a Shard come from? I thought only Yima could make those?”[/FORMERLY REDACTED INFORMATION]
While the centaurs are from a few worlds and times, some of which are more “modern fantasy” and some of which are much more like Hayame’s world, they’ll kindly welcome her to join them in the future, but won’t pressure her into doing so. The little girl will also give her a flowercrown, which is very important.
