Liem didn't sound like he particularly had had a strong opinion of where to take the shard, so I'm guessing you had a stronger opinion on which to go to with the shard.

Ultimately, I want us all to work together regardless of what 'side' we're on, because I don't trust either of them to ultimately have our best interests in mind. Manon's story may have some vital information about this place for us that we would be better off knowing sooner versus later.
