YOUKAI INFO

YOUKAI: Okami
MASK APPEARANCE: HERE. Hayame's wolf mask is a wooden one the likes she associates with folk theater, with the jaw and skull parts of the mask connected by black cord and the expression seemingly frozen in a permanent snarl. The mask is worn and appears quite old, with flaking paint and some chipped teeth.
ABILITIES: None yet.
CHANGES: Physically, none yet. Mentally, Hayame's youkai is an ancient, experienced creature that will be exerting its influence over her in subtle nudges and manipulations designed to make her into a creature more willing to run with the pack in an effort to keep her alive. At the moment, it knows better than to speak directly to her mind in words, but it may communicate with other youkai in an attempt to cover for her anti-social personality.

IC PERMISSIONS

PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Hayame is violently opposed to touch on most all levels, and pursuing it will potentially require me to refer to your "Physical Violence" permissions section lol. Bring it on, I'm all for it OOCly, but just please be aware how difficult it is to get past her high defenses and viewing of affection as weakness.
PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Hayame is an aggressive character who will likely threaten violence upon others (very easily) and get involved in fights potentially with player characters as well as against game enemies. I'm more than willing to thread out violence, as well as the consequences of said violence.
RELATIONSHIPS/SEX: Canonically described as a "stallion-hater", Hayame has long resented men because of the struggles she's had to endure as a female in her world/culture (despite preferring them sexually). However, she associates sex with abuse and the life of a broodmare, and it would take a very specific set of miracles to get her into anything like a relationship, let alone willingness to have sex with a non-centaur.
MEDICAL INFO: Hayame is a healthy female centaur in peak physical condition, 7 ft.+ tall, approximately a half ton in weight
MENTAL INFO: Hayame is a very damaged young woman who has spent her life as an overseer of her own kind in a slavery system and only just recently begun to come to terms with this. Most notably she is a strong believer in honor suicide, and is currently struggling with suicidal ideations. I'm comfortable exploring these mind traps when/if they come up.
OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: Hayame will react very strongly and very negatively to being compared to a horse or other animal, any attempt at riding her/getting on her back, enslavement themes, amputation, and insinuations of sexual relations between centaurs and humans.
ANYTHING ELSE: I'm going to be the first to admit she can be a very difficult character to get alone with, but I'm hoping we can use the youkai mechanic and some OOC communication to make things work! Thank you in advance.

BACKTAGGING: Yes, but only within reason. If there's a lack of communication about delays in tagging and the thread isn't development-heavy or plot-related, I may drop it if it drags on too long. I will usually approach you about handwaving the rest or wrapping it up with a fade-to-black.

OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: I have a bit of a squick about eye gore, but I think that's it? I'll speak up if something presents itself.

ANYTHING ELSE: Hayame's canon is one that deals with a variety of very difficult issues, including but not limited to: slavery, forced amputations, sexual abuse, pseudo-cannibalism, and suicide. As tight-lipped as she is, it isn't likely she will discuss these sorts of things openly with other characters, but they will potentially crop up during logs/prose narration.
